The party starts March 17 at 11:00pm at The Spaniel's Tale Bookstore. Celebrate with drinks, food, swag, trivia, and camaraderie as we count down to midnight when you will become one of the very first people in Ottawa to get their hands on Sunrise on the Reaping.

Tickets are limited, so don't wait. Each ticket includes a hardcover copy of Sunrise on the Reaping, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, swag, and trivia.Want to bring a friend? Companion tickets are also available.

Who is hosting this party?
Ottawa's midnight release party is being hosted by The Spaniel's Tale Bookstore, in collaboration with Scholastic Canada, the Canadian publisher of the Hunger Games series.
How much do tickets cost?
Tickets, which include a hardcover copy of Midnight on the Reaping, are $41.99/each. A companion ticket can be added for an additional $5.
Can I buy more than one ticket?
You can buy as many tickets as you would like, as long as there are still tickets available.
What if I change my mind?
Once you buy a ticket, refunds are not possible. Ticket sales are final. You are welcome to sell or give your tickets to someone else. If you choose not to attend the midnight release party, your copy of Sunrise on the Reaping will be available for pickup in the store.
Can I bring someone with me?
Each full ticket is valid for one person. An optional companion add-on is available for $5. Companion tickets do not include a copy of the book, and each full ticket holder is limited to a maximum of one companion ticket.
What age is this event appropriate for?
This event is open to all ages. Sunrise on the Reaping is recommended for ages 12+. Alcohol will not be served at this event.
What if I've already pre-ordered Sunrise on the Reaping?
No problem! We would be happy to upgrade your pre-order to a midnight release ticket for $5. Send us an email to [email protected].
Can I read Sunrise at the Reaping at the party?
Your copy of Sunrise at the Reaping will be provided to you at midnight, the end of the party. Unfortunately, we are unable to distribute copies of the book before midnight.
